Ava’s Homemakers are here to help with tasks that keep our client’s safe and comfortable in their homes. Including but not limited to, light housekeeping, organizing, meal planning and prep, home and calendar management, errands, and more!

Ava’s caregivers enjoy spending their days with their clients! Ava’s caregiver’s understand the importance of having someone they can trust and feel safe with. The caregiver’s are happy to spend time socializing, playing games/cards, cooking, walking, and more! This service is helpful as a respite service as well!

Sometimes in life, we all need a little cuing and encouraging! Ava’s caregivers are great at gently cuing our clients to use DME equipment safely, to take a shower, eat meals or even take their medications each day. If you or your loved one could use a helping hand, Ava’s are here to help!

Respite Care provides relief to the full time caregiver, the loved one that needs to refresh, regroup, and regenerate. Ava’s can provide support while you or your caregiver gets out of the house for as few as 2 hours or as many as is needed!

Ava’s believes that each person is a valued individual with an individualized care plan. If you or your loved one, has a need that is not listed here, please call the office to discuss that need. If Ava’s cannot meet this need, we might know someone we could refer you to, who may be able to meet that need.

Melissa, Owner/Director of Operations
Owner/Director of Operations
Melissa began her career in Early Education in 2002, and eventually entered into Healthcare in 2006. Melissa has worked both on the patient care sides and the management sides of the field. When asked what she loves most, she states, “a little bit of both, I guess that is why I love having the business because I can still work with the client’s and thrive with being creative on the back end of things!”
Melissa has an Associates Degree focused in Early Ed and Health Sciences. Additionally, she has almost completed her Bachelors in Psychology.
Melissa’s favorite pastime is anything that involves music, nature, family and friends!

Chrysty, Community Nurse Manager
Chrysty has had the best of both worlds in her career as both an LPN and a Substitute Teacher!
Chrysty graduated from Maria College as an LPN and has a certification in Gerontology (The Study of Aging).Chrysty’s the proud wife of a Retired Navy Information Technician E6. While her husband was active duty Chrysty was a stay at home mom for 2 beautiful and talented girls! Chrysty has coached soccer, volleyball, basketball and softball! Chrysty has also been a substitute teacher for the past 8 years!
When asked what she loves most about what she does, Chrysty answered, “Definitely good to be back into nursing and letting people age in their homes like they want to!”
Chrysty’s favorite pastime is spending time with her family, coaching, and watching her girls play sports!
